Jacques OPINEL, descendant of the illustrous family and himself a former cutler manages the OPINEL MUSEUM installed in the former cutlery works in St Jean de Maurienne.

An exhibition, in the forge which has kept its rams and tilt hammers, retraces the history of Savoy cutlery;  a film makes it possible to make a tour of the current factory.

At the end of your visit, you will find Opinel knives for sale in the shop.The shop is also on line!
